The Coach House

The old stone built Coach House has been converted to form a light and airy tearoom. The spectacular arched windows offer wonderful views across Teesdale, and the limestone floor with its under floor heating and peach walls provide a superb environment. The tea room offers a range of delicious home cooked meals and salads including home made cakes and traditional cream teas. The tea room has a drinks licence and beer, cider and wines are available with meals.

There are several tables outside the restaurant for al fresco dining and refreshments during the summer time. The tearoom is conveniently located for visitors travelling through Teesdale to High Force, Middleton-in-Teesdale and Alston. It is also close to the Teesdale Way as it passes through Eggleston.

There is easy access for the disabled.
