Amy
Willcock
Amy Willcock is a vivacious 33 year old American "Yummy
Mummy", born in Chicago, who moved to England
in 1980 which was when she encountered her first Aga.
Life has come full circle and Amy wouldn't dream of
cooking on anything else but her own 4 oven cream
Aga. She assists her husband and their business partner
in running their three hotels, one of which - The
George in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight- has a Michelin
Star. Amy is an authority on Aga cuisine and conducts
regular workshops on the Isle of Wight. She writes
a monthly column in the Shooting Gazette and has also
demonstrated throughout the UK including the BBC Good
Food Show and International Festival of Food and Wine.
Her lively, upbeat courses have received rave reviews
by people like Nigella Lawson and Amy will show you
that nothing is impossible using an Aga. She will
be demonstrating how to make the most of your Aga
using the Aga at Eggleston Hall. There will be residential
accommodation available if required. Places will be
limited in the Aga day. Her second day will be on
the electric hob suggesting all kinds of ideas for
game cookery.
Belinda
Williams
Belinda runs the Yorkshire Party Company with her
husband and has an extensive repertoire of fun and
clever cookery possibilities.
Gillian
Harbord
Gillian is based at Eggleston and is a constant source
of invention for the flower arranger. The course details
are shown on a separate sheet and again spaces will
be limited so book early!
George
Smith
For the last demonstrations before Christmas, we are
delighted to be able to welcome George Smith back
to Eggleston. George has received international acclaim
as one of the world's most celebrated lecture demonstators
in flower decoration and horticulture. He has lectured
in the USA, arranged flowers at Versailles and travelled
the world promoting British flower arrangement. He
has lectured to the Royal Horticultural Society and
written several articles for 'The Garden' magazine
amongst others. George lives at the Manor House in
Heslington outside York where visitors can admire
his wonderful collection of flower arranger's plants.
His work has been featured on Gardener's World and
he has also produced a series of flower arranging
videos.His attention to detail and lively imagination
will make for an unforgettable day.
Sarah
Nops
Sarah Nops ran the Cordon Bleu cookery school in Marylebone
with Rosemarie Hume and Muriel Downes, moving on to
work for Good Housekeeping magazine. Sarah now works
as a freelance cookery writer and demonstrator based
in London. She has visited Eggleston on several occasions
and has many innovative ideas for Christmas.
Next
year we will be running a series of short residential
cookery courses at Eggleston. If you would be included
